Our chefs have years of experience in the kitchen; their shared enthusiastic passion of food has yielded an inspired team, rare in culinary depth and talent. Though The Putney Inn is tucked in a quiet Vermont enclave, we are proud that our food has been lauded by writers from Boston to Chicago, and from Washington to Miami.

Reductions simmer in stock pots for hours, waiting to be combined in interesting, flavorful ways, sometimes bold and vibrant, at other times subtle and understated. And then, there are the times when all you want is a good old-fashioned hamburger, and we’ve got that too.
